Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at Single Homeless Project 

At Single Homeless Project, we’re hardwired to take inclusivity seriously. We work with people from all walks of life and we celebrate this diversity in our clients and our colleagues.

So how do we do this? 

We worked with all of our colleagues to create clear aims for how we will operate as an equal, diverse and inclusive charity.  These aims include: 

  • All staff have a voice and influence in the organisation. We have a variety of staff-led groups including a Black staff network and an LGBTQIA+ group.  
  • Our staff team and, in particular, our senior management and Board is diverse. Our recruitment practices and training programmes support all staff looking to move up, regardless of background. 
  • Our senior management and Board profile is reflective of our overall staff.  Our diverse staff backgrounds reflect those of our clients.
