Mark is a barrister at Radcliffe Chambers, a leading London chancery and commercial set. Since being called to the Bar in 2004, Mark's practice has revolved around work for financial institutions, central government and regulators, with a particular specialism in financial services regulation. Mark was recently appointed to the Attorney General's A Panel of counsel who deal with the most complex government legal cases.

Since joining SHP’s Board of Trustees in 2015, Mark has focused on risk management and the charity's approach to litigation. He is a member of the Finance Sub-committee.
