Women

Women experience homelessness differently. And too often, they are hidden from view and from the support they need.

Women are more likely to rough sleep in hidden or transient ways, staying on night buses, walking through the night, sleeping in public spaces or staying somewhere unsafe. Many have also experienced domestic abuse, violence and trauma, both before and during homelessness.

That means women need support that understands their experiences and is designed around them.

We provide specialist women-only services across London, work with partners to improve how women experiencing homelessness are supported, and campaign for wider change so that women are seen, counted and heard.
