2. Make it personal

This is going to be the first thing people see when they land on your fundraising page, so keep it snappy and engaging. It's also what people will see when you share your fundraiser on social media – so making it short and sweet is a good idea. Tell everyone about you and why you are supporting Single Homeless Project!

3. Set a target

Set a target for your fundraiser. This also will help you promote your page as you get closer and closer....may just encourage them to give that little bit more. Plus, there’s no denying how satisfying it is when you see it tip that 100% mark.

4. Tag us on social media!

Make sure you tag us on social media so we can give you a shoutout! You can find us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn!

5. Give regular updates

Keep your supporters, friends and family in the know. Regular updates will keep them engaged with how you're doing and are a great way to show how close you're getting to your fundraising goal.

The difference your fundraising will make

Each day across all 32 London boroughs, our staff work with individuals to tackle the underlying causes of homelessness, such as poor mental health or drug and alcohol dependency.

With 40 years of expertise and a London-wide reach, we make a difference to more than 10,000 lives every year.

Often that means being there for people at a critical time – whether to prevent their eviction or help them off the street; to get them into drug or alcohol treatment or support them with their mental health; or to help them find a job and a flat so that they can take the final steps to living on their own.

Perhaps most important of all, your fundraising will help restore hope to people who might otherwise feel forgotten, left behind or written off, providing crucial footholds in their recovery journey from which they can go on to build independent and fulfilling lives.
