Refugee Resettlement Service get festive in the community

Our refugee service enjoyed a brilliant Christmas Party, bringing together more than 100 of our clients from Lambeth and Waltham Forest as well as numerous local volunteers from Lambeth's refugee welcome group. The day was run in partnership with local Refugee Welcome group (part of Citizens UK), who provided venue, puddings and put a lot of effort in coordinating and making sure the day was a success. The food was provided by Mezza Me - a Lebanese restaurant based in Brixton who hired two of the service's current/ex clients.

Arlington Road & Ashley Road get in the festive spirit

We've had a range of Christmas parties at our accommodation services, with residents from Arlington Road and Ashley Road getting the spirit - playing a bit of Reindeer hoop with the Sports & Health Team.

Lambeth x Tideway

Our Lambeth VA service enjoyed a day out at the Tideway Office, one of our corporate partners, enjoying a hot Christmas meal.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Decorations and trees are going up across our hostels and services to get our clients in the festive spirit. A big thank you to the amazing volunteers who are supporting this effort to the BBC, Criteo, Tideway and Zurich Insurance UK.

I'm forever blowing bubbles

Clients from our Westminster and Camden Hostels enjoyed a open day for London homeless charities at the London Stadium this week, with free haircuts and a hot meal. Christmas Dinner? Of course not, pies and mash all the way. West Ham players Mark Noble and Lukasz Fabianski even joined in with the festive activities!

Christmas in the Community

Thanks to the support of our corporate partners, our floating support have been enjoying Christmas parties including our Islington Floating Support service, who enjoyed a special meal, courtesy of Islington On The Green.

Christmas Collections

8 days. 11 stations. Over 200 volunteers. An incredible effort by all our volunteers and staff members - with special mention of Rebecca Moorhouse, Individual Giving Lead - who have put in the hard hours to raise funds for our work this Christmas.

Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la

A big thank you to all all the corporates who turned out to sing for SHP in our annual Trafalgar Square Christmas Singalong, raising over £450 in the process!
