Yes. We provide housing advice and assess each person’s individual circumstances.

Depending on your situation, we may be able to:

  • Explain your housing options
  • Help you make a homelessness application
  • Advise on local connection and eligibility
  • Refer you to accommodation services
  • Advocate with housing providers and statutory services

The support available will depend on your individual circumstances and eligibility

I’m not rough sleeping yet, but am worried I will be soon. Can you help?

Yes. You don’t have to be sleeping rough to get support.

If you’re at risk of losing your accommodation or think you may soon have nowhere safe to stay, contact our team as early as possible. We may be able to provide advice, assess your situation, and connect you with housing, homelessness and other support services to help prevent you from sleeping rough.

What happens after I make a StreetLink referral?

Once your referral has been received, our team will review the information and attempt to locate the person. If they are found, an outreach worker will speak to them about the support available and discuss their options. We will usually attempt to locate someone up to three times where appropriate.
