We work in partnership with statutory and voluntary agencies across both boroughs to improve services for people with multiple needs and drive systemic change, influencing how services are designed and delivered. However, amid the Coronavirus pandemic, domestic abuse cases have risen, putting many people in incredibly dangerous situations and making it increasingly challenging to support them. To address the heightened risk, FLIC worked in partnership with St Mungo's, Standing Together, and Homeless Link to create guidance for staff in homeless settings. Included in the guidelines is advice on; Establishing where domestic abuse and sexual violence has occurred Making contact Conducting phone and face-to-face welfare checks How to make a visit what to do if the client discloses abuse How to get support.
