Our strategy
Our new five-year strategy, 2025-30 is built on four bold pillars – each one a commitment to lasting change
Prevention, Intervention & Recovery
We’re stopping homelessness before it starts and supporting people every step of the way – from crisis to stability. That means scaling outreach, growing Housing First, and designing services around the realities of people’s lives, including gender and trauma-informed support.
Health, Wellbeing & Opportunity
Homelessness is a health issue too. We’re tackling health inequalities, expanding therapeutic and employment support, and building partnerships that give people not just a place to live, but the chance to connect, grow and thrive.
A Voice That Drives Change
We’re turning frontline insight into influence. From women’s homelessness to co-occurring needs, we’ll challenge systems that don’t work and champion those that do, amplifying the voices of people too often left out of the conversation.
Strengthening Our Foundations
To go further, we’re investing in what makes change possible. That means growing our income, becoming a Registered Housing Provider, backing our people, and building the infrastructure to match our ambition.
Our Ethos
We place the person at the centre of their support, buidling a trusted relationship, and agreeing on what they need to feel safe, heal, and thrive.

Then, our expert teams work hard to integrate all the physical, mental, and social support required from various agencies, appreciating how every aspect interacts with one another.
We believe that, with the right support and environment, everyone can take control of their lives and shape their future, no matter what challenges they’ve faced.
Our years of listening closely to and working with people experiencing homelessness mean that we know just how complex and traumatic homelessness and all the events leading up to the experience can be.
Homelessness is brutal, and it takes its toll on all aspects of a person’s life. And we know that accessing the support you need and deserve from disconnected and under-resourced health and social care systems is impossible. This isn’t right. Everyone deserves a fair chance.
This is why our approach is so critical to ending homelessness: we go the extra mile for every single person we work with.
- We jump through all the hoops and navigate our complicated health and social care systems on behalf of the people we help, working out what benefits they are entitled to, setting up appointments, and accessing medicines and treatments.
- We challenge rules and funding decisions that counteract each other and don’t make sense, which exclude people who experience homelessness.
- We get different professionals like nurses, doctors and therapists working together to create person-centred and joined-up solutions.
- We create spaces in our hostels for health and wellbeing professionals to practice on-site, making it easier for the people we support to get the help they need
