That means just 3.71% are lucky enough to grab a place via the ballot with only 17,000 spaces up for grabs. The ballot for 2023 will open on Saturday 1st October. The ballot is free to enter, whether you live in the UK or abroad, but if you're lucky enough to secure a place entry is £49.99 for UK participants and £125 (including a £26 carbon offset levy) for international participants.
