SHP clients explore the equality of the blogosphere

2 September 2011

A group of SHP clients are taking to the internet to raise their voices on subjects ranging from political issues to personal experiences of homelessness, mental ill health and addiction.

Unheard Holler, which goes live today, is a new blog produced by SHP clients working with journalists Fariha Karim and Anna Costin, and On Road Media, a social enterprise dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion online.

As one of the founding bloggers explains, the aim of Unheard Holler is “to become renowned for giving a fresh alternative view because it deals with issues that are often either ignored or looked at without sufficient depth.”

This topic will be picked up in Local | Social | Digital - a series of fringe events at the party conferences later this month, when we will be launching the blog for real. In the meantime, the articles are coming in thick and fast, so listen out for the Unheard Holler.
