Shared Supported House Service
We have a total of 30 houses providing shared, supported housing for 200 people. On average, each house accommodates 6 people.
Each resident has their own bedroom and shared use of kitchens and bathrooms. The accommodation is fully furnished and equipped.
Most of the properties have small offices, and support staff are based there at specified times during the week and, in some cases, throughout the week. A Housing Officer visits the properties regularly.
Support Workers and Housing Officers work together to ensure the properties are well maintained and meet Health & Safety requirements. They also support residents to ensure they are able to meet the obligations placed on them by their Occupancy Agreement.
As well as regular contact, we operate a keywork system of support, – typically focusing on income maximisation, accessing specialist support services, tenancy issues, employment and training, life skills development and resettlement planning.
Residents are also offered regular keywork support.
We also assist residents to find permanent accommodation when they are ready to move on.
These services are located in – Brent, Camden, Hackney, Islington, Lambeth, Newham, Waltham Forest, Wandsworth and Westminster
