Locum Night Concierge
SHP is a London-based charity working with people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, providing a range of accommodation based and community support services to meet the needs of substance users, offenders, people with mental ill health and young people at risk.
Locum Night Concierges work during the night hours in our hostels as first point of contact for service users. They ensure the safety of the building and of the people within and provide written shift records. We are therefore looking for individuals who have good interpersonal skills, are reliable and have the ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
This role is part of our locum pool, which means that there is no guarantee on the number of shifts being offered on a monthly basis, and there is no obligation on the part of the worker to accept any offered shifts. However, once shifts have been accepted punctuality and reliability are an essential requirement.
As part of the recruitment process, shortlisted candidates will be asked to come to our head office to provide us with a sample of their writing skills. Based on the outcome of the first stage, candidates will be invited to an interview, which is the second and final stage of the selection process.
Closing date: None. This is a rolling advert

Please note CVs and handwritten applications will not be accepted.
SHP is IIP accredited and equal opportunities employer.
