Volunteering

SHP is committed to involving volunteers at all levels of the organisation and within all appropriate programmes and activities.

Some of the posts are designed to support the development of life skills, others to harness professional skills and experience.

We advertise volunteer vacancies in our Work for Us section, as some of the same procedures apply to make sure the candidate and the role fit well together.

If you cannot find any suitable vacancies but have time and skills to offer, please complete our Expression of Interest form so we can find out more about the kind of contribution you are able to make.

Pro bono

Our focus is set firmly on the delivery of quality services for homeless people, and this is where the vast majority of our resources are directed. We spend some money administrating, promoting and developing our services, but pro bono support is a great way for us to achieve the best results without breaking the bank.
